Hi, I’m Aspen Turney, a psychotherapist and owner of Bliss Therapy Co. I’m happy you’re here!

As a therapist, I believe we all have intuition and values that can guide us, but we often struggle to trust ourselves because of the external pressures of social norms, low self-esteem, or trauma. When we’re not living authentically and aligned with our values, our self-confidence and mental health suffer.

I’ve been on your side of the couch as a therapy client — I know it can be intimidating and uncomfortable! But, I also know how much therapy can support us in growing, building confidence, and learning more about our authentic selves. In the therapy room, I show my full personality and want you to feel comfortable doing the same! I use curiosity, openness, humor, and compassionate confrontation to connect with and challenge my clients. No topic is off limits in my office — it’s a shame-free zone. We will work together to create a plan that clarifies your therapy goals.

Alongside my therapy work, I serve as a Board Member for the Arizona Counseling Association (AzCA) as the Community Outreach chair, building relationships between counseling students, professionals, and the Arizona community. I am also currently in process of obtaining my Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor credential.

As a human, you can find me taking my dog to get pup cups, doing hot yoga classes, cooking yummy foods, traveling, playing board and card games, and listening to true crime podcasts (my anxiety doesn’t appreciate this!).
